I have a couple of good size plumeria trees in the ground, and one in a huge pot. I love the flowers, but am not really a huge fan because of the mess from the dropped leaves. For some years now the leaves develop rust, late in the season, when some the leaves are beginning to drop anyway.
I know that some years ago I was told that the rust problem usually always happens and there is no cure. I was worried at that time thinking the rust would spread to my other plants (especially my orchids).
So, is there still no cure ? I pick up the rust laden leaves as soon as they drop and also pick some of them off (those I can reach), since they going to drop soon anyway.
