Josephine, does the crossvine ever bloom in the fall? Last fall I recall noticing some kind of vine down the road (and it wasn't trumpet vine) with flowers that looked similar. Haven't been that way this year, but will have to go take a look.

Hmmm... on second thought, maybe it was a bush rather than a vine. Now I'm not sure! Hilarious! The flowers were red though, that I remember.
