Apples are one of my bird's favorites and of course the dog, Charle likes a bite also....this is the season and I can remember when we had to go out and gather apples and then peal and core them for Grandma had to make applesauce. Then there is the old Dutch Apple Butter and cream cheese combination...that to me was like peanut butter...we always had apple butter.
I love the tart apples, in fact they are like potato chips to me. I eat too many and then belly ache.
Nothing like a good "delicious" apple for a snack. The dark red delicious are my favorite..my birds too. Funny they can tell the difference like a human.
