Here is a still fairly small Orchid, picked up a few years ago from Ooi Leng Sun/a Malaysian vendor. To my surprise a couple of weeks ago it started to produce a really long pendulous spike. This morning the buds were open.
I just read that those blooms close down at night and open in the morning with sunshine.
This is Coelogyne rochussenii and I detect a scent of sorts.
