Definitely prune it. When mine got too tall and leggy I'd cut it back to about 3 inches above the ground then cut the long stems to about 4 inches and stick half of the stem in potting mix. Most if not all of the bare stems will root and produce new foliage. For the top with the greenery keep about a 3 inch stem below the greenery and gently pull off the bottom leaves that look icky and stick it in potting mix making sure you are burying part of the stem where you pulled the leaves.
It should start rooting and producing new greenery in about a month if the potting mix temperature is kept in the upper 60's to low 70's. Below that temp it will take longer. The key thing is to keep the soil moist .. more on the dry side of moist though.
