Well, it isn't really related to this picture but I thought this was a rather magical shot, so here it is. (From a container of mixed succulents I was given today. Hmm, I suppose that is a bit magical after all!)

Anyway. As I was bustling about outside today at some point, I looked down and a piece of fluff caught my eye. I realized it was a seed fluff (NO idea what the real term is!) and not bird feathers, so I picked it up and thought to myself "I bet this is milkweed." There were four seeds attached to the white fluff.

I was bustling and busy and had no place to put it so I shoved it in my pocket and went on with whatever I was doing out there. I've been meaning to get some asclepius seeds, by the way, but just hadn't done it yet.

I went inside and forgot all about my pocket, hurried up and changed my clothes and went off and did something else, came home and decided to do some laundry and, thank goodness!, remembered I had seeds in the pocket of those jeans.

I pulled out the squashed fluff and found all four seeds -- including the one that fell out and landed on my foot. Green Grin! Put them in an envelope, and then looked online to make sure: Yep, sure enough, milkweed seeds had landed at my feet today.

I guess the garden was telling me something.

Lovey dubby
