Thanks guys. I never lost it although it is prone to scale and leaves dropping off in my environment. It has 3 spikes this year. Anywhere else it would have tons more, but it has survived the northeast and blooms periodically and most reliably in fall.
B. David S and his mom, B. cuculata get good sun all year, but mom often blooms alone in spring and fall.
