I know what you mean about the water features. I can look at my pond out my bedroom window and it looks so dead. the water fall is stopped (a stream about 15' long with three short drops then into the pond. And the pond is low and covered with ice now except where we keep the water circulating from the deeper end to the shallows for the fish.
