I have other containers...but I am intentionally testing that tuber. If it fails..it's okay..it has already bloomed last year, so just playing around with it. So far that tuber endured our very dry and hot summer indoors, so now the container is outdoors, to let it feel the cooler air.

I have found out with a similar experiment, I can change the media in the amaryllis where it is traditionally planted in ground or in container with soil, it can also thrive with just clay rocks and gel beads in a glass container with no holes as long as I keep the bulb dry and just the root zone with moisture. So I am testing if it will be similar with cyclamen knowing it hates getting too wet.
