Thanks for a great way of killing the undesirable plants that can plague us, Eric.

Jennifer: Last year I tried it with a trumpet vine and checked often as it died, then patted myself on the back...until it returned 10' away this year, in two different directions. I did it again on the two new pieces and spring of 2015 will let me know if I've gotten all of it. I couldn't bend the bottom down enough to treat it as Eric did but sprayed the interior of the bag with Ortho's Poison Ivy and Tough Brush Killer, then put the stem (with its leaves still attached) into the bag and rubbed the leaves into the poison, then tied up the bags.
