Nice blooms, Lindsey. I recognize most of them. As for the background, I think it depends on the orchid and just what you are trying to show. Some of my darker orchids just don't show well with the black poster board so I have used the sky or the pool as background. Busy is OK but I try to set the camera to blur it some. The white orchids seem to do best with a foliage background.
