If it wasn't for the OC, I would still be out there carrying orchids around the house. The only thing I did was close the windows and set the old man palm (Coccothrinax crinita) inside. It is real small and in a pot so no problem. You should look it up if you don't already know it. It has a long shag of hair that hangs from the bottom of the fronds all the way to the ground, even as a seedling. I think it is rated a zone 11 plant so I will always have to protect it. It is a slow grower so I will have it for many years.
