Ooh, Brrr, that's a very wintery scene for Florida, Ann. We got down to 39 on Tuesday night and about 44 last night, so no frost or damage here.

Even so, I did cover most of my tender plants including the brugs - just threw a piece of frost cloth over the tops, but it seems to trap enough warmth coming up from the ground to save the leaves. My EEars do just die back if it gets cold, and I throw an extra few inches of mulch on them to protect the tubers. They jump right back up in spring.
