When I'm in the mood for more new recipes, I'll definitely try that Deb. I guess I could use crabmeat since crabs are a rare commodity around here.

Every day I make a dish that I can freeze for thanksgiving. We have the WHOLE family here for an overnight event. I have a recipe for 10 pounds of mashed potatoes that is freezable and tastes good when defrosted. The hint that I received with this recipe is to mash all the ingredients together EXCEPT the milk. Put the contents in the freezer, take them out an put them in slow cooker 5 hrs before use, add the milk at this time and they'll taste like just made. Also peeled and diced 3 butternut squash for soup.....my arms and hand really got a work out today......
