There are few that are better than ATP. In fact, I came here looking to see if something was up because my podcast feeder (Downloader) shows the last ATP podcast was quite some time ago and I was hoping for more. Sadly, they may be in their winter break. I love ATP.

I listen to quite a few podcasts for gardening. A Way to Garden is great although I wish it were longer than 30 minutes. Ken Druse Real Dirt is good, although he is writing a book and so most of his are re-runs right now... but go back to the beginning because there is some real gold there. Joe Lamp'l has an older podcast for Growing a Greener World and rumor was that he was going to start it back up. But again go back and listen to archives. Vegetable Gardening with Mike Paveski (hard last name to remember and I;m sure I mispelled it) is good although he is often talking to people with new products so if you aren't interested in the product its not great. But I've often forced myself to listen to something I didn't think I'd care about and found myself glad I did. Grow ALL the Plants is a good podcast that I hope comes back. A young guy named Joseph Tychonievich does it. He is an author of a plant propagation book and was one of Organic Gardening's young up and coming stars. He only did maybe a dozen podcasts but they were very good.

Then I also listen to podcasts that focus on my area... the pacific northwest, so I doubt they would be real helpful for you. I also listen to English podcasts as England has similar weather to us also. So you may want to find your local people or a foreign place with similar weather. There are some great Canadian podcasts that probably have similar weather to you. What'cha Growin is one by Gayla Trail, an author of quite a few gardening books and friend of Margaret Roach. Oh, I also listen to P. Allen Smith... although a lot of his podcasts are about Arkansas and the South... often he includes a lot of great information that's useful for everyone. He raises heritage breed chickens and talks about that a lot also.

I also listen to hobby and farming podcasts. There is one called Chicken Thistle Coopcast which is about this couple who started farming and its usually very entertaining. They talk about the reality of things a lot... how you kill a large group of chickens, how to raise and process pigs, as well as the process behind CSA's and farming (it's more than hobby farming but less than full time large farming). And they are funny... its fun to listen to a married couple and their "quirks". Sort of like ATP Hurray!

I also listen to beekeeping podcasts as I keep bees... although I cant really say there are a lot of good beekeeping podcasts out there yet. But if you have a hobby do a search for podcasts for it.

An Organic Conversation is a group of about 4 people who talk about organics issues... can be anything from gardening to food to cosmetics to solar issues. They are out of San Francisco and its a bit lefty-granola (which I can say as I lived in San Francisco for three years and am quasi lefty-granola myself). But its well produced and usually has multiple things of interest per podcast.

Hope this helps!
