. Some of these unique and awesome plants can be posted in the Cacti and Succulent topic. But, and this is a big but, not all caudex forming plants are succulent, they are a large group of unrelated plants that develop a swollen base, but do not always grow succulent leaves. And pachycaul trees are not succulent, rather they are trees that grow a thickened trunk. 
. It would be great to have a forum just for them.
