Top one, or ones? are Brassavola type foliage I think. Long, thin and kind of pointy. Those ones look pretty darn good to me. I wouldn't have thrown 'em away! They're some of my favorites, have really pretty fragrant flowers and bloom two or three times a year when they're happy.

The bottom one I'm guessing is a little Cattleya of some sort. There are so many different kinds, impossible to ID further than that until it blooms. Keep us posted! Sometimes they bloom in the winter and some of my small ones like that bloom twice a year. They can be really fragrant too.
