It grows in a large pot, which, in all actuality, should be bigger. LOL I think it is a 14 or 16 inch, not sure. I will look when I go up to the g'house later today. I bought it, if memory serves, as a tiny plant from a mail-order place. Can't remember where, it's probably been 10 years ago. The blooms last about a week or so and it blooms while in the greenhouse. I don't remember it ever blooming after I've put it out in late May or early June.

I know this is a deviation from the thread, but I also have a Bird of Paradise in a 20 inch pot that has 6 bloom stalks right now, one of them being a double. (2 flowers on the same stalk).
