Yes I have spent more than $100 for a plant. Usury they are hardy trees like Jap. maples or Tri-Color Beech or my tri-color ash maple. My chocolate mimosa tree which was way cheaper so I purchased two seedlings. My Blue Atlas Cedar. Also garden order of many plants for well over $100, does that count. Still if I drank or smoked, gambled or played cards, I would have spent more by now than on my plants. And I gave many of them away to friends and family over the years to spread the joy. The friends I have made right here giving and taking knowledge is priceless. But boy do I under stand the spending part. Some times I have trouble sleeping after spending a lot. Money could have gone to do so much more.
