Thanks for the article. I just wrote an article for our paper and used a photo of my own H. virginiana which is blooming right now and the foliage is breath taking. What a lovely small tree for a shady yard! Mine is about 15 or more feet tall and 10 - 12 ft wide. The shape is so beautiful. I love it all year. Thanks again, The Rabid Gardener, Texas
