I left space for tomatoes this year in my "vegetable" garden.. The asparagus take up one of the raised beds and are permanent, but I think the tomatoes are going to be in containers next year. I've already walked several pots of historic Iris up there. I haven't pulled up the last tomato, and I think it's getting nervous (and yes, there are still tomatoes on it).
The surest sign that intelligent life exists elsewhere in the universe is that it has never tried to contact us.
