Good point, Rick. But it gets me to wondering...just what is the difference between the bark chips and wood chips from the same type of tree? Is it just how quickly it breaks down, or does it have more to do with what nutrients are being taken up by the (well, previously) living plant? Yes, my ignorance is showing.
