As to the cost, what I don't totally understand, is there must be as much "work" involved in the hybridization of an SDB, or IB, as in a TB.....but the "little guys" are always cheaper Confused I guess size DOES matter Shrug! .I have bought a 'couple" Median "new intros", but I just can't justify the cost on a TB. Many have said that the growers are usually VERY generous with bonus plants, when you buy a new intro....and I guess, depending on how you want to "figure" it, that brings the "price per iris" down. On the other hand, a person MAY not want iris that they didn't actually order....wrong "color scheme", already have it, whatever.
