Great! I think a lot of people try to get "the earliest ripe tomato" or "the very first spring peas". If they are only planting one crop, they might do better to wait an extra week or two, reduce their risk of late frosts, and grow that crop during optimum conditions, instead of the earliest possible conditions.

By the way, ATP has a planting-time calculator, based on frost dates.
