Hi dirtdorphins,

I'm sorry I don't know your name. Do you use Windows operating system? I'm jumping ahead a bit, but, if you open your photos in "Windows Live Photo Gallery" you can edit them there and sometimes correct the blue tint---not always though. It's really a good program without investing in expensive editing software such as Lightbox and such.

If you like I can download your photo of catmint and edit it a bit and I'll walk you through the adjustments I make to it and you'll see the difference and improvement. What you'll find in the editing process is that you very rarely have to change the color because just by "sharpening" the photo the colors are somewhat intensified and closer to true (not always with the blue of morning, or, on extremely cloudy days) and in adjusting the "shadows" you'll get more saturation of color also. Lightening the photo will remove some color. Let me know if you're up for it or not. There's no obligation! I'll be covering the editing process at the end of the tutorials if you'd rather wait, or, not participate at all---it's entirely up to you!
Beauty pleases, not only the eyes, but the heart as well. ~~Sheila
