A google search on the question of the existence of the Loch Ness Monster brings up a wealth of concerns and information for either side, too. But, it doesn't follow that there's any legitimate debate about whether they actually exist.
Unless the microwave oven is damaged or malfunctioning, seeds sitting on top of it aren't going to be exposed to microwaves. If they were, you'd have far more important things to worry about than the effect it was having of the seeds.
