I have a Satsuma that is supposed to be a miniature. It is now approximately 10 years old and about 7' tall and equally wide. It produced poorly last year as we had an early freeze, but it now is yielding quite a lot of fruit and is always well covered with leaves. I don't know what I have done to please it. I kept it watered for the first couple of years and feed it with barnyard manure occasionally, but it is pretty much on its own. It no longer gets water other than rain and I have never pruned or sprayed it...?
