"Introduction" means it has been offered for sale (catalog, website, price list, etc.). Dragon Dance was introduced by Tempo Two in Australia, making it ineligible for the AIS awards. Keith Keppel sometimes co-introduces Barry's irises through his (Keith's) garden in the US. Those irises are eligible for AIS awards, except for the American Dykes Medal. To win the American Dykes Medal, an iris has to be hybridized and introduced in the US.
