IDK without taking some kind of poll, LOL! TY for the giggle, Rick. ;) But totally agree about the sun angle. During winter, there is no direct sun in a north window. If I did keep my plants inside all year, they would be in diff spots for summer vs. winter. I didn't realize this discussion is only about indoor plants, sorry, but I do think there's some instances where it helps to know where folks are. If one happens to have holiday cacti, depending solely on the sun for day length is the best way to get blooms. Latitude can make a huge difference in the power of the rays. A few hours of AL sun, whether through a window or directly, is much more powerful than a few hours in Alaska. Repotting a plant in January isn't much of a concern here, but I wouldn't recommend it for those much farther north.
The golden rule: Do to others only that which you would have done to you.

The best time to plant a tree is 20 years ago. The 2nd best time is now. (-Unknown)
