Sue, I totally agree ! What's lousy for me is that we haven't gotten our normal freezing, or below freezing, night temps this year. The weeds are jumping out of the ground and smothering the roses with wet, gloppy, goopy leaves covering the canes of the roses. Usually, the weeds are not a problem this time of year because they've been frozen and are not growing.

Next week, we are supposed to get a break in the rain. Instead of watering roses in the snow like last year, I am going to be weeding roses in the mud this year !

Zuzu, I've been spending my time cleaning, too. I've been going through closets getting rid of stuff. The kitchen is next. I never get bored working in the garden, but this cleaning stuff is boring me out of my mind !

It's always something.
