I understand, Lucy ! ALL mine is in "pen and ink", and only SOME is put on the computer ! A lot of the things that I record are "typed out & printed" on the computer, and then kept in notebooks........I not only can find them better that way, but, I can take them into the garden, or anywhere else I need them...and, yes, all you "real" techies out there, I know I could take the laptop, or a "tablet', or even a "smart phone" with me ....but I'd either have it full of mud, lost, or stepped on in less than 10 minutes
