I bet your garden is super nice!
During the sixties and early seventies, I was totally into daylilies. I was an exhibition judge, and what was then referred to as an awards and honors judge. After my divorce, I moved to another city, and left my garden behind.
The sixties were a great time to be involved in the hobby, especially in central Florida. Ophelia Taylor (an early Stout Medal winner) lived just a few blocks from me, Bill Munson was starting to work with tetraploids, and a number of mostly now forgotten people were actively growing our favorite flower. And we were blissfully unaware that rust would one day be a problem.
Now, well into retirement, I'm starting over.
