I'm both team natural and team artificial. This is the first time in years that we've actually put up a tree and decorate it. For so many years we were either traveling during the holidays or extremely busy with elderly, ailing parents. Our tree is artificial and I usually love to make decorations with grapevines (or other vines) pine branches, holly etc. but the only natural decorations I had indoors this year were two blooming holiday cactus (Schlumbergera x buckleyi) that I moved back out to their normal spots on the screened porch today to get more natural light.
