I would think you could certainly plant some cool season stuff now, like broccoli and other cabbage'y stuff. Plus greens like lettuce and spinach. They'd be just ready to transplant out to the garden by March or so.

Hardy annuals like bachelor's buttons and cosmos really like a cool start, too.
