What fun! I actually did use an old pair of leather boots once and it was so cool for a year. By the second year it was,..Hmmmmmmm,.....well just Goot-een-schlimey Sticking tongue out should I say. Oh I scrubbed it a little and it didn't get so gross that it disentegrated till the next year! It had a good run and would do it again. Like the Purse idea. Vinyl would be longlasting, like those old basket weavey boxes from the 60's.

I'll bet the boots and purses would really last in the more arid and dry climes that a lot of you live in...

Looking forward to seeing your Boutique hanging garden Jean. Find one of those old huge lycra girdles and sew up the legs. Fill with dirt and add some solid bra straps to hang and plant!!! Hilarious! Thumbs up
