It's 35* this morning, a heat wave compared to yesterday's 22*. The older I get the colder I am when winter approaches, so even in the 30s, it's a shivery day.

@DavidofDeLand , If I paint that picture, David, with a daylily in his beak, I'd have to call it 'Oxymoron', now wouldn't I? Smiling

@rocklady , Jean, once I had a blue jay and again an insane wren, both determined to peck their way through a window. I had a small mirror that was framed and in both instances I placed that mirror close to the spots they attacked. Every day or two I moved that little mirror a little farther away and they moved with it. The mirror ended up hanging from a tree limb and the birds moved away too. I've used up a lot of little mirrors but they seem to work. I say 'little' but they were probably about 5"x7" with the frames. Crazy old lady with mirrors in her trees, but whatever works is fine with me. Big Grin
