With any fluke of nature in the plant world your going to see that, reverts back to the all green- wild type. i wouldn't worry so much on the purity of the offspring but if you must select only the varigated ones for continuing varigated spider plants


It takes plabt breeders awhile to make new varities and maybe unintentaionally thats what your doing.
