Ken, sounds like a good trip! I've been thinking about going to Fairchild Gardens sometime in the future because all the guests at MOSI keep telling me I have to go see their butterfly exhibit. I was checking their webpage and it does look like a big place! And I'd probably just hang out with the butterflies all day anyway, knowing me. But I still might get down there one day.

Melissa, when I was reading about your Onc. Gold Dust, I thought I had that one, too but today I went out to the shade house and confirmed it. It looks like we have the same taste in Oncidiums! Mine hasn't bloomed as I bought it quite small. It was at St. Pete Orchid Farm and they had a sample plant and then lots of little ones to buy. Yours looks fabulous and I'm glad I can see what the heck it was I bought!
