You can probably fashion some portable mini greenhouses from pvc pipe & 6 mil plastic to put over several or individual plants. If you don't glue them you can take them apart to store when not needed. I just put up the 18 ft x 20 ft canopy tent that I can wrap with the heavy mil plastic around the legs if needed but I may may some mini greenhouses for the tender stuff in the ground.
