It is a sea lion Leslie! That's what all the ones on the rock are too. And Tom, the crane is a great blue heron.

I used to do a lot of photography...about 35 years ago (I feel old!

). So I know this camera is capable of a lot more...but there will be a learning curve. I can't believe how much the technology has changed. Everything about this camera is different and much more complex than my good old Cannon AE 1 (film/SLR camera)!
