Occasionally you can lose the first flower before all the buds have opened. Its a bit of a disappointment but it happens, and you did get a nice bloom time out of the first bud. If you look closely at the suppler's photo, there are at least two, possibly three different bulbs in that picture. The way the photo is staged, I can't tell if any spent blooms have been removed.
