Hi Teresa, I did not have any issues with Big Red Wagon hanging up last year, its first year in my garden. Of course, our season was 2-3 weeks late due to a bad ice storm in February and a colder-than-usual March. By the time Big Red Wagon bloomed, it was well into June and there are no cool mornings in Georgia in June! I don't know how it would open if the temperatures got into the mid-60's or lower in the mornings.
