I live in zone 7 and im looking for the best kind of grass. We get snow and ice in winter but in summer it gets sunny and hot and we sometimes get droughts. The lawn is a high traffic area and mowed frequently. We have zoyza grass but it turns brown and in winter looks dead and weeds grow in it easily. I also want the grass to help wildlife like anything that eats grass.
I was looking and perennial ryegrass is supposed to be great for what I need.
