You are right Mary-Ann, those seedlings look pathetic!! Sad So I was able to do something about it this week.Went into Warrnambool, my local town, and popped in to see the fish-monger.We chatted about stuff and after putting the world right, asked him if he had saved any polystyrene boxes.Well, it was Christmas all over again, 15 boxes in all, better than a bag of blood and bone all nicely wrapped!!
These boxes hold 55 2 inch square pots and I can put water in the bottom if I want. All 61 seedlings have been potted, plus as I ran out of room in the garden after planting out 501 siberian seedlings, the left over 50 or so found a home there.

Bought myself Currier McEwen's book ''The Japanese Iris'' for Christmas.
