One area where I planted iris in front of the existing beds
This area is just to the left of the above photo
This picture was from a few years ago without any iris planted in this bed. Today this bed looks nothing like it did in this picture. 
trimmed back climbing roses this last fall, potted iris to replant and will plant more iris here
