Heuchera are one of those plants that usually do well for me.....especially the H. villosa varieties. I have Autumn Bride and Brownies in large numbers....some of my pics in the Midwest intrroduction thread show them.

H. americana is native around here.....to the point some people see it as a lawn weed....I have lots of them, but no pics at the moment, both my local natives and 'Dales Strain.'

I usually get several seedlings a year from Brownies and H. Americana.....most come fairly true to the parent, but with differing light levels, it can be hard to tell.

I find them VERY easy to propagate....I take cuttings of the stem/rhizome....they usually have multiple branches, and separating a piece is simple. The cutting often has some roots, but even if it doesn't, they will root quickly when plunked down into soil and watered a bit...no particular special care......of course, this is my experience--your mileage may vary.
