With our harsh weather I went to making my planters in the gardens out of the styrofoam coolers. I have a few of the large plastic planters on sale at the end of the season at KMart a few years ago that have held up good.
But the styrofoam coolers with the stone cover or other decorative things I can put on them to look different are my favorite.
