I call my husband "boyfriend" sometimes and one day (several years back) my daughter came home from school with a piece of her artwork. You know the usual cliche that kids draw... a square house with a pointy roof, scribbly brown blob aka the dog, in stick figures-her and her sister and brother, her mom (me) and "mommy's boyfriend"! I almost died! I called the teacher the next day and embarrassingly explained to her that I do NOT have a boyfriend...the teacher knew I was married so I can only imagine what she thought when she saw that!
