I am in Sarasota FL. Mine are babies, have not bloomed yet, but their parent tree is next door at my neighbor's. His tree fruits twice a year here, in March and again in November. The fruits are delicious, a little like a small apricot. But there is a lot of seed, compared to the amount of fruit of this particular variety. So the birds do get a lot of the fruit, and of course the seeds get 'distributed'.

Apart from the fruit, the tree is very nice, stays fairly small, maybe 15ft. tall and wide, with shiny dark leaves. The flowers are small and not terribly decorative but when the fruit is on the tree, the clusters of yellow/peach fruits are pretty.
