I used to be attracted to all the new ones because, after all, they had to be better, right? Now that Ive been into daylilies for 10 years or so, theres far fewer new ones that interest me. Just not that much different. I love yellows...but really, how many do you need? I find myself now buying some older ones, and am attracted to a full clump with gobs of blooms. Im buying a few now, and thinking I will probably produce some seeds this year for my own enjoyment, especially because I can get from seed to bloom so quickly here.

Probably Im mostly drawn to big fluffy round blooms. Love well branched plants; blooms shoved together is a no no for me. Love strong foliage too.
